A bit disappointed, not in the quality of the product, but the picture shows a contrast of subdued and a bit lighter and what i received is all subdued and with the black background you can barely tell i have the decals there.
Hi Michael, thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the decals didn’t meet your expectations. The product description clearly states that these decals are die-cut from matte black vinyl film and that the underlying surface color is visible through the stars and stripes cut-outs. The product photo shows the decals applied to the chrome grille letters.
We will be happy to send another set in any of the other colors that we carry if you wish to replacement them.
These are much better than I thought they would be. Simple to install using the wet method, they seem to be pretty tough and they look great.

I'll start with the customer service. Friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I screwed up the first letter I tried to put on. They mailed me a new letter (and an extra) right away. Envelope addressed by hand. I'm old school and that real person touch means a lot to me. And oh yeah, the product/letters are awesome. Just follow their directions the first time! Looks amazing, I ordered another set for the front. If you want quality vinyl letters that fit perfectly, order them from TVD now.

Excellent quality and had plenty of spares if you messed up. This was a really long tedious job, but soap and water did the trick to alignment and squeeze the bubbles! Looks great!

I've had these matte black on my truck for about 2 years now. They were easy to apply following the instructions. They have lasted through sand, mud, dirt, and many washes without any sign of wear, fading, or peeling. I recently had my tires replaced and the tire shop scuffed a couple of the decals, but the extras that were included will replace those without having to order more.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed by these.
